First off I would like to thank Jared and his whole staff. They were fantastic. If anyone is thinking about heading to Parchers I would highly suggest it. You will not be dissapointed.

Second, Dana you are the man. What a great get together at a great place. I was amazed to see how many people were there and made the trek. It was awesome. What a great turn out.

We arrived at about 4:00 Thursday. The first person we saw was Smitty and he directed us to our campsite. We got all set up and situated and took a walk around. We saw Sansou, Grannyfish, Gpafish stayed and chatted a little. We ran down Dana and Donna for a few minutes. We then saw our soon to be next door neighbors Webfoot and his sister Annette.

We decided to get some rest and tun in early, but heard there was quite a get together and Sansou's place. Sorry we missed it.

Woke up Friday and headed to the Pancake Breakfast that was scheduled. Jared and staff did the pancakes up right. They were great!

We headed up to South Lake for some fishing but didn't get any love at all. It seemed that everyone else was doing quite well. It was beauitful at the lake. Here are a few pics.

We decided to hit the creek close to camp for a few stockers.

Then it was time for the Spagetti feast. Once again Jared and crew did it up right with a great spagetti dinner with garlic bread and then Brownies and Ice Cream for everyone.

Saturday the two in shape groups took off on horseback and on a hike. I'm sure I could have made the 4 mile hike with Greg and his group if they would have let me take a Segway up there.

Here are a couple of pics we took Saturday

Sapen started my day out right with some breakfast..MMMMM

Did anyone ready Gregs post about the hike? Annette and Webfoot did the trip two days in a row and she did it in flip flops! That's hardcore!

Saturday rolled around and we couldn't believe that the trip that we waited all those months for was about to end. Sapen hit the creek for a while and I just relaxed in camp. I started to think that she had gotten lost and then she came walking into camp saying " you missed it". Well is seem that she caught her PB trout out of the creek. She was pretty excited about it. Jared weighed it at 2.3lbs.

We would have to agree that this was the best time we have had in quite some time, but I guess that was what was to be expected with such great people around.

I sure hope this becomes a first of many get togethers at Parchers!

Thanks for letting us share,

X and Sapen
