Just a quick hello. I will be a regular at Lake Casitas and occasional ocean trips to Channel Islands. Any recommendations regarding bank fishing spots at Lake Casistas?

Welcome to FNN GARYC, look forward to the Channel Island reports. What landing/boat do you like to fish out of? Been awhile since I have fished Casitas, but I like to pitch plastics in the cove below the campgrounds...lots of stickups and such to target. Good luck!

Went out last month, first time ever! Went on a boat called The Gentleman, caught 11 fish (9 rockfish, 1 sanddab, 1 seabass). I have not caught a fish at Casitas, yet. I just got back into fishing. Where exactly is this cove?
Someone caught a redear, next to me this past Sat. I was inspired that I actually saw someone catch something from the shore! ha ha

If you are standing in front of the bait shop, it would be to your far right. Not sure how familiar you are with where the campgrounds are, but just think of the area below the campgrounds etc.
The good old Gentleman, I remember when it used to run out of Paradise Cove before the storms took out the pier! Congrats on the wsb....just fyi I saw Malibu is offering trips again.
