Maybe I should take up kayak fishing? It is a whole lot cheaper!

SKY, thanks for the post.

Oh dang, I forgot that I'll need a car. That might make it a bit more expensize?

By the time your foot gets all better we might need to carpool in a Flintstonesmobile? ;)

SKY, I sure do hope that your foot is feeling better.

There were tons of Kayakers out on Big Bear Lake yesterday.

People were swimming where they weren't allowed. Crazy out there.

Tons of boaters, sailboats, PWC, anglers. Everywhere you looked there were people.

YUCK! I like peace and quiet...and the whole lake to myself.

The company of a great friend is always welcome....:D

I was nearly assaulted by a weird ol' lady that insisted I had a rod to sell to her.
If I could have I would have run away as fast as possible. I was polite.
I should have told her they cost $500 each. Might of helped pay for the trip?

And there was no such thing as quiet on Sunday up there.
Schreeching kids, loudspeakers, Harleys, Hot Rods, etc.

But I look forward to getting back up there ASAP.

Big Bear Lake can be a very beautiful place on a weekday or during winter. I never, EVER go out on a busy weekend...
