HB Pier 6/16

its been awhile since I have written a report. Have not been fishing as much as I would like with work and gas prices but I made it out for a little pier fishing yesterday afternoon. When we got there I saw a guy catching some good size fish not sure what there were though. We were fishing with Cut Squid. After A little while I caught my first fish in a long time. That fish being a small brownish shark.

Then some how I caught a large Sand Crab it was a little bigger than the palm of my hand.

Then caught a few thornback rays. My gf got the skunk though but we still had a good time and it started getting cold so we called it a day. Every thing caught was released

Yea, nice job. I used to fish that pier once in a while, but I've never gotten ANYTHING durin the day. The night bite seems to be a bit better for random sharks n rays n such. But congrats. :Thumbs Up:

Congrats on getting out despite the gas prices, nice to punk the skunk to boot. Damn that crab casts quite a shadow, looks like the Barry Bonds of sandcrabs! :LOL:
