iam going on a 976 tuna/shimano charter that leaves on the 26th and fishes on the 27th. anyone else going? what do u think i should expect? what tackle should i bring? i have a 12,15,20,25,30 and 40. iam hoping we fish the seabass or yellows at catalina or clemente

Take everything from the 15# on up to the 40# setup. Take irons, jigs (Darts, Mega-Baits), plastics, lead heads, and Owner hooks for small bait and Owner hooks for large bait.
Don't forget your lucky hat and you're ready to smack anything that swims your way!!!

Are you going on the Westerly trip? Six setup's is quite a bit for an overnight in my opinion. I usually only bring four or five. My usual setup's are 15, 25, 30 and 40. If I wanna add one more then I will add a 20# setup. I can always fish my 25# setup with 20# flouro so I kindda stopped bringing my 20# rig. Just one less rod to carry. I would bring some iron's and jigs for sure. Some plastics for the bass along with some leadheads. We caught a few seabass at Clemente this weekend on the leadhead.
