6/15/08 So Cal Fathers day Ninja

Rediculous. Crazy - Effortless - Rediculous Bass fishing today. That's all there is to it.

Boat caught limits. I ended up with 21 Sand bass. Southern Cal w/Ryan in the wheelhouse and Ed in the galley.

Made one stop today. Somewhere in between the Shoe and the Flats. Fished straight plastic on a leadhead. Bass were boiling everywere. The hot zone was 5 feet below the surface using a green plastic swimbait. The whole day I only used 2 plastics even though they were destroyed after the mayhem.

I limited out in the first 30 minutes and then went inside the wheel house and played cards w/the crew. (Thanks for the $9 ryan - I like Omaha now).

Ate a cup of noodles and then went back out and caught another 8 or 9.

The grade of bass was good too. Average fish size was 2 to 2.5 pounds. An occasional 3 or 4 and the JP was a 6 pound whopper that beat a male sheephead.

Best father's day ever.
