I never hear anything about this area so I decided to give it a pounding.
Worked the entire stretch from one end to the other and back. Started around 5:30am, stopped at 10:00am. Not even bump!!

Here's the stretch of beach I worked, shown in red:

Here's the tide chart:

I realize the tide wasn't ideal and that could possibly be a big factor there, I don't know. Water temp was ok, I wore shorts. Waded in up to my waste to get the lure out there farther. No salad at all. Visibility was clear, in waste high water, I could see my feet. My feet were the only signs of life I saw though.:Envious:

Doh! I know that feeling.
Whatever you did to get that football perch was on the right track!

Keep it up!

ive had a wide open bite on perch at the very end of the parking lot on that tiny piece of beach between the wall and the little jetty. this was maybe a year ago though.

I was just there this morning...landed a couple fatty BSP on ghost shrimp 6#test... Exact same spot, very end of the parking lot to the right.

I bet that area would be much better at high tide. ;) :D

I've had good luck on the inside...although the fish there tend to have a glow to them!
