At the bait shop today the owner told me that if i catch this kind of fish to cut it up and use it as bait. He told me the name but i cannot remember it. All i no about the fish is that it is good barred perch bait, you are not supposed to eat it, and they can be caught in santa monica, WHAT IS THIS FISH, its killing me the name is on the tip of my tongue???

white croaker aka Queen fish? That is the only fish that I know of that you absolutely cannot eat in Santa Monica or anywhere else for that matter.
