I fished mdr this afternoon from 2:30 to 6:00. the whole time, I got 3 hits. when I firt got to the docks, the current was ripping and the wind was blowing. first cast, got a short c bass about 15 inches. it went dead after that so I figured I would start dragging for halibut. I was casting for awhile without any luck then I got bumped. I let em eat and ended up wit a short flatty about 12 inches. kept casting about 20 minutes later,a bumped while I was talking to devin on the betty o. I didn't think nothing of it and kept talking. started dragging then the rod doubled over. about a 5 minute fight and I had a legal flatty. bite died after that. I threw a 5/8 oz green mackeral pattern croc and got a short cudda. called it a day.
