Sunset Beach Late Report

Hey.....
I haven't posted a report in a while. Just been busy I guess. Anyway, gf and I tried fishing Sunset Beach last Saturday. The wind was blowin somethin fierce. Even so we managed to land a couple of perch each. That's a first for the gf.

Notice the kite boarders on the water. Usually when i see them I don't even fish the surf. One guy kept coming within feet of the shore. I thought he was gonna catch our lines.

Tired of fighting the wind we jump to a spot on the harbor side. I rig the gf up first like a gentleman, and while I'm riggin up mine, she hooks up and lands a good-sized diamond turbot.

Fish a little bit more, she's throwin c-rigged gcsw and i'm throwin a shiny hardbait. Then she hooks up with this fatty....

I get absolutely no love on the hardbait so I switch to gcsw and get this little YFC...

Wish my wife liked fishing. There are those times when the view is so grand, or the weather just right that sharing some angling time with the ol' lady would be great for our memories...

Nice job on adapting and moving based on conditions and getting on some fish.

Nice Needle Fish there. RARE Socal Catch!!!!!!!! Harbors are great for that reason.

We will be at the same location somehow, someway, someday!!!!!
