MDR Jetty - infested with thronbacks

Damn ! hit the jetty/surf area searching flatties....couldn't keep the Thornback Sandsharks off the line...

I ended up catching 18.....averaging 2 1/2 ' some slightly bigger.
I don't doubt the flatties were there but couldnt get through the "mice" this particular evening.

Good fun but I'll have to return for the targeted species soon.

Hey I would have been happy with that last night. I only got 1 kitty and 1 trout. Both which were caught right after talking to you. See even your luck carried on over. :)

Well I'm glad some luck flowed your way..no skunk for you or me either, I am happy to just get action and be on a solid bite...those suckas were hitting me almost every cast.

I'd say that more halibutmust fall to the steel soon....maybe tomorrow.
