LB Wall WFO BASS!! 6-5-08

Short report, me and vince champion hit up the LB wall today for some bass action. Little did we know it would be an epic day of bass fishing. :Envious:

We launched around 330 and headed out to the bait barge to get some anchovies then we headed to the spot.

The bite was steady for the first hour or so then it just went nuts. Hook ups on every cast and too many double hook ups to count.

Vince hooked into two under sized WSB, they put up a pretty nice fight. We quickly got them up and cpr'd. Vince also hooked into a sea slug or sea cucumber lol.

Vince's largest sand bass was 3.6lbs, my largest and PB calico weighed in at 4.8! :Envious:

I ended the day with 26-27 calicos/sand bass and Vince got 27 along with 2 short WSB(released), 3 macks and one sea slug haha. We released all but a couple to take home for dinner.

Man o man it was a epic day aight. You know i think my digital rapala scale needs a new battery change. That calico of yours should be over 5lbs easily. And my sand bass is 3.6 lbs not 3 lbs jezzus! LOL next time we head out well go chasing cuda if you could make it. And if we miss, well just hit up the wall again and hope for another wfo day. HAHA well do this again soon ernie!

Nice job guys, got to love a day with any pb bass coming onboard! Did you guys fish inside or outside the wall most of the time? Thanks for the report, pics and feedback!

looks nice..we fished it a few nights ago..got some big ones too.
