Hey guys my dad and I went fishing in NPH today, pretty slow but we caught a few bass, barracuda, and this fish on a flylined chovie (Picture attached). I know its a bad picture, but Im sure somebody can hazard a guess.

I believe it's a tomcod, people call them different things... i've heard herring and other things as well!

It's a queenfish(aka herring). They're often caught at the local piers like Belmont. Prime halibut bait

yeah looks like a queenfish to me.
