Ok so my wife fooled me w/ a fishcat 4 lcs float tube, nice pfd, a 2 stage pump, and some fins that split down the middle. All I need now is to return the fins so I can get me some hotspots, think of some way to build a floating rod holder for 2 rods and a fish finder, get some waders that will accompany the hotspots, anchor, whistle, small net, and I think thats it. Anyone have any ideas or pics they wanna share of their tube that I can use to get me started? Thanks

Congrats on the new tube. The FC4 has proven to be a worthy bassin vessel for me. You can either buy one of the Berkley three pole holders and attach it to the D rings on the side or you can make your own pole holder out of PVC.

Here is my setup:
Tube: Fish Cat 4
Pole Holder: 3(optional 4) pole holder made of PVC
Fish Finder: Lowrance X96
Accessories: 7.2Ah 12V SLA battery, 2 utility straps, Outcast saddle bag, RAM mount, bungee cord

Man that is a nice setup you have there, how much would that cost in materials?

I forgot the exact amount, but it cost me less than $20 for all the PVC. The RAM mount I bought at BPS for $50. The utility straps cost $2 at Wal Mart.

Thanks bro. The battery I'm using holds a charge surprisingly well. I've gone three full trips on one charge and still have some juice left. Keep in mind that my finder has 1500 watts of peak to peak power.

Haha, here we go. Do tell Daryle. Or you can join the Dark Side.

Yep, I have and have seen it done on a FC4 too. Like Ron said, or I can join the Dark Side and definitely run a trolling motor on it. For now though, fin power does the job fine. Although, I could use a DVD player for those slow days on the water.
