Wind? What wind?

A lil more pre-fishing MDR for the upcomming SWBA "Battle in the bay".

Stuck to ONLY throwing the plug today, and it payed off, BIG TIME!

Poked around again, but hit the beach, again.

Chuck, crank bounce, photo, release, repeat if desired.

Disclaimer: Toads abound. If big fish scare you in any way, please look no further.

Weapons for todays fiesta....

Brian up first. Candybar.
8-11 lbs.! WOW! the 10 dollar kind. Ate it right at the boat! ANd this on a scale thats about 7-10 oz. off. Maybe the infamous 10 lb.er

Another gander, Brian is a big boy, and this fish was BIG.....

Comes through again, this time on the Candyman.
Teetered between 7 and 8 on our crappy scale....Came straight out of the water and dogboned the jig....gotta love that!

Another looksie loo...

My turn. Two turns from the boat and PLUNK.
Candyman SS. 4.5

Lil D up on the 6" PEARL swimmie gets thumped in the boilers and helps fill out the limit.
2.4.

And plenty of the 15" variety to keep it intersting. Had it been tourney day, we would have had an estimated 21-24 pound 5 fish bag.....I already know well suck by then, so were getting it while the getting is good.

Happy Sunday suckas!

Oh yeah, a 40 plus mile round trip with 6 gallons of fuel in a 13' Whaler sport.
