Anyone want to tip me in on where to pump for these suckers i know it better in low tide you share your place i will to?

I have no idea I just usually buy them. I saw that article about how to make a pump gun but I have no idea where to even start with the thing.

That would be nice if somebody could give a little insight here.

Well i always catch them on low tide by far the best bait for the harbor or surf.....

It's show's the basic steps in making a slurp gun. It's pretty easy. Mine is a little different than the pic as I also included a T connector so I could put on a handle for better grip. I'm not sure but I think most back bays will have them. Just look for holes/volcanoes in the ground.

Alamitos have a few spot that I know of. All the beaches along the Penninsula on Ocean Blvd inside Alamitos have them. Low tide is best.

Lots of different versions of slurp guns out there.... I used that particular version as the basic outline for the one I built.... but I changed a few things.... including the handle. I prefer the t-handle and I made it removable so you can clean the gun easily....

BTW...... Ive found a few nice places to pump Ghost Shrimp in Newport Harbor at low tide......
