Pier Fishin...

Stopped by Seal around 4p on the Jetty...no bites to save my life. After a couple of hours moved onto the pier where the wind was blowing. Wind surfers were having a field day in the distance...

Got a can of GS and it started off with a 10 inch SNGF...then caught this little guy...

I was excited...it's my first leo ever...if you wanna call it that. It was a dink...what do you call one that smaller than a dink?

Then I caught another SNGF about 16 inches...

Then it happened again...

This one was even bigger than the first...by comparison it was huge...

Then I caught a YFC...

I then caught another YFC that was probably in the 14 inch range...

Saw some guys catching mullets with moss or somethin like that...It was cold out there...but well worth it. As an aside when the little leo was shaking around a piece of GS flew off and landed in a book...that's not the important part...it was a book that my girlfriend was reading that book...I thought it was pretty funny...she didn't feel the same....that's why there is no pic of the last fish...by that time I had lost my photographer...

nice surgical gloves... do they help you hold the fish? why not on both hands? nice pix too...

The left hand holds the bait in place, while the right hand puts the hook through it. Don't worry I am not a doctor...keeps the stink off in case I have to meet a client that day.
