Got fired up to "brave the weather" last night.

Wind was starting to lay down thru the day so a plan was made to hit up the wall.

Good thing we did. Started inside for a few small ones then the wind switched from the east. Made the run up and outside.

2nd or so cast produced this on the Revenge Flip Jig - Pearl bait combo

It was on the rest of the night. Another one on the Revenger Jig head and one of Mickeys baits

Got zing powed way too many times last night on 50lb braid!!!

Stocked the livewell for a few photos, all fished released in good shape after their ride in the Kupuna!!!

Thanks guys!!

Yeah Mickey is a great guy to fish with and is very talented when it comes to creating baits.

Check out this latest bait he handed me, can't wait for the right condition to throw this bad boy!

Thanks! Yeah the lure is killer, so pretty I am afraid to fish it!!!

Killer bait you made. It's kewl to make/try your own stuff and catch fish on it.

We use the Might Minnows on the wall just about every night, either rigged texas style weedless with a bullet weight or on a jig head/lead head. They work very well and you don't lose too many in the rocks kelp, compared to throwing swimbaits on a standard leadhead. They also work well with no weight when fishing the kelp mats & stringers on the top water.

Not trying to spam here as I do not recieve anything for selling 316 products, I just know Mickey and use his stuff quite a bit. Here is the link to Mickey's site, with the Mighty Minnow, 4 for $10, including the offset hook, is about the same price as four 5" swimbaits and a few lead heads. I like the Baitfish, Blue Gill and American Shad colors.

We were fishing them and Pearl Simbaits on Revenge Jumbo Flip Jigs (1oz & 1 1/2 oz) the other night for the first time and that was a killer combo. Check them out at this web site:
