I worked WRSB at the incoming tide from 10-1pm.
First jetty these two:

Bad photo shot - couldn't see the image on the camera back.

Another bad shot, kids and parents wanting to help.
Both about dead on 22" - they went back in swimming happily.
I moved to another jetty with a fisherman that was beginning to clean his six perch 12" that were lined up on the rocks. I pass him and say, "hey, you did really good today, nice going". He looks up without saying a word with a look like I stole his wagon and goes back to cleaning his fish. Oh well, I just walked to the other side of the rocks and casted in the south side. About ten minutes into it I picked up this one:

Now he is practically standing over me as I un-hook this one to see what I caught this on. His expression when the fish went back was as if I just kneed him in the groin. I said, corto no legitimo. Oh, he said.
After this next one he really wanted to talk- his English was suddenly working too:

...a real classic case for many of you I wouldn't doubt...
Water was clean and clear, no bait fish in sight. I did see two 4-5 leopards and did dig and find some medium sized sand crabs. Did not see any sliders today.
Around noon a steady ten knot wind from the north picked up that then moved off-shore around 1 pm...and started to get a bit overcast.

Anyone know what this is? Sand crab moultings?
