Patriot 5/17/08

Decided last night to go out on the Patriot’s extended ¾ day trip. We were able to load everyone, get bait, and leave the harbor all by 6:30. We only spent about 1 hour looking for the larger class bones then headed strait for the island. All we ended up catching there was a bunch of smaller calicos and small 2-3 pound bonito. Except for my uncle who got really lucky and caught a good 10 pound bonito, but that was the only large fish of the day. He ended up winning the jackpot with that big bonito.
