View Full Version : Aloha Spirit Full Day!!!!! Limits on WBS..

Whats up gang?.... Went out on the Aloha Spirit for a full day WSB hunt....We get to the islands around 7:15am and started cruising the the thick kelp beds, for bout 45mins until Shawn yells out "Throw your baits in the water"... We came around a school of wsb bout 500 fish deep.....The whole boats had its limits within 15mins of fishing....The WSB were hitting eveything from Chrome Krocs to Lead Heads with 2 anchoives pinched on....

thanx.... The wsb were from Santa Cruz....
The Aloha Spirit is a boat that you should keep a close eye on. Shawn always puts the boat on fish. This is his first season as the owner of the Aloha Spirit. It also has a new galley and bait tank.

Very cool the season is starting out right for him. After making the purchase of buying and upgrading that vessel.
I was planning on hitting Santa Cruz after some WSB reports. But I'm still totally dragging my feet on the upgrades on my PVT boat.

the bite was so fast that we ended up bringing 7 extra wsb over the side.... we found a couple of private boaters to give the extra fish to and they took our picture.... the pic was taken right after the bite...
man thats sick u came across a school of that many WSB....and to limit out 15 minutes into it. congrats man.

Shawn would not allow a short fish too stay on board. I have personally seen him throw back short fish. One day he threw three lingcod that i caught back and they were an inch or less short.
