SM pier 5/13/08 didn't fish but...

4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Fishing was fair at the end of the pier. Most fishermen were using fresh shrimp pieces or mussel. More than half of the catch were macks with smelts/grunions and small perches (probably shiners) making up the rest. Not much action along the sides.

ya should have fished....the parts that go lower than the rest of the pier...cast up under the pier by the pilings....Sandass bonanza !!!
