As a joke, I collected a couple of fish heads and put them on my neighbors fence. He thaught is was funny. Apparently he likes them because he wants me to bring him more. Here's the fish head shrine.

Actually there is no smell and I give the guts to the cats. So I guess that keeps them away from the heads.
What happened to keeping sea shells and star fish..

I do that all the time i am doing it to my ling cod heads with there mouths wide open they only smell for a couple of days.I have done it in the past with threasers,halibuts,lings and they dry out and they have no smell to them but make sure you leave them out in the sun for 4 moths.I let the ants get to them and clean them out i what to put a lacure or something to give them a chine but i never did that before.
