I've been hearing alot about luckycraft minnows. Was thinking about trying them. Can anybody give me a run down on popular models and colors. Theres so damn many to choose from.

They are over rated and over priced ... stick to Krocs or Rapalas

The popular ones are the Flashminnow 110 in metallic sardine, aurora black, etc. They are pricey at around $18 a piece but some people swear by them - and then swear a lot more when the lose em!

They are Japanese made which is why they are so expensive but well worth the money. I am Japanese so I know I can trust Japanese made lures. Good action, aerodynamics, attention to detail, etc.

lol I'm the same damn way! I've had mine for about 6 months and it hasn't even seen the water yet. It does make my tackle box look pretty though.

LOL, well guess what. I decided to pull out the trusty LCFM110 and give it a shot. Conditions at CDM were actually GOOD  - water was clear as ever! I saw fish swimming around and jumping out of the water. But I hooked up on a nice 18-19" hali using the luckycraft! GOOO LUCKYCRAFT!

Look at the battle scars on that bad boy.. hehe.. I'd rather spend 18 bucks on a lure that has good action than 3 bucks for something that might as well resemble a piece of turd..

Most lures are designed to hook fishermen rather than fish ...
