WINDY today... but managed to get one fish to beat the skunk, on squid strip. Released to croak another day.

My friend/fellow fisherman got skunked, but Huell Houser did interview us while we rode on the Balboa Ferry for a show(California's Gold) coming up on the ferry...

You should of smacked Huell... Just so you could say that you did. Some of my brothers freinds beat the crap out of Screech one time at "Cinemopolis" off Imperial and La Palma. They called him Screech, and he's like "Yeah, my name is Dustin" and it was on.

sweet, nice croaker, he's a fatty! I went down to the wedge for a few hours around 6 tonight and got a few sculpin and a few spotties. Most of em were small, but a few were decent enough to put up fun little fight (had to rescue that bass with some guys treble cuz he slipped off my hook on the way up and got wedged down in between some rocks:shock:). The wind wasn't too bad when I was there, but the swell was a little rough. But cant be mad when you beat the skunk:smile: Since the waves are just gonna get bigger til saturday, I might try n scout a dock or sumthin on Balboa or Lido island. Any ideas without givin away your super secret spot?

No secrets kept here...

That was Coral Ave. dock on Balboa Island. It's great during the week, parking right next to the dock on Coral, and a public bathroom a few blocks nearby at the ferry crossing. Take an easy chair and sunblock and enjoy a day on the water....

and paste this in the search:

Coral St. is where I caught my first ever Spotfin that went 24 inches and have not come closer than 18 since. I will not post the pic and ruin your thread like the jetty guy.

Do you really consider his thread ruined based on the fact I added what I did in the same harbor on the same day? wow

do you have to take the ferry across to get to the dock?
