I have an older wilderness 120 and at first I thought it was unstable. Took it out a couple of more times and got the hang of things. The wilderness is not as stable as the other two kayaks you mention but it does have it's advantages. Speed being one of them.

well I have try both now, and for my weight theres is no dought that I need more buoyancy. the x factor track better for me, simply because i dont weight it down. meaning less drag ,this yak I bought 1 month ago. hope to be able to trade. dont get me wrong, I love the wilderness system it is a great yak. but 400lb to 625 lb. does make a difference for a guy like me.

Try the classifieds board. That's where people look to trade,sell and buy stuff. Might do better on your deal. Good Luck
