For 40 years of big lake--small lake--drive-to lake--backcountry lake and stream--the Panther Martin has been one of the best spinners for me in the Sierras. Make that, THE BEST. When backpacking, weight and space are at a premium--an asortment of PMs and Kastmasters are what goes along when choices gotta be made about what goes and what doesn't.
