I fished using night crawlers and shad all the time and caught all types of species of fish. What do crawdads, crickets, or mealworms normally catch? how do you set them up? Might b a dumb question but i was just curious since everyone has been using these baits. Thanks a lot, a really appreciate your info.

I have used crawdads for bass before with success. I don't know how other fishermen on here rigs there crawdad but I like to just rig it through their tail. As for the mealworms, I've caught anywhere from a bass to a panfish. More panfish though. There are certain streams in the mountains where cricket is the number one bait for trout. So yes, I've caught trought with them. I've also caught panfish as well. Hope that helps you out.
