Benton Bridge open ?

was wondering if anyone has fished this in the past couple days...im up here now and need to plan my destinations for tomorrows fishing...

at the end of bishop interstate 6 turns east...take it to the first bridge you come to...before this bridge is a dirt road on the right (before bridge) this is an entrance to owens...

or you can go across bridge and park on left...and fish the other side of the owens...

we were skuncked at the owens in the afternoon...HIGH WINDS...

in the morning we fished the power plant above PVR....C&R over 40 wild browns...all on super dupers...gold and red...some on night crawlerss...

I thought the area below benton crossing was closed till Memorial weekend?

Unless you're talking about off of warm springs road, then you're good to go...

I believe they are talking about somewhere else Greeper...The area south of Benton Crossing bridge down to the fish monument doesn't open until Memorial weekend like you said.

Yeah - they are talking about the Laws bridge over the Owens. You are correct about Benton Crossing....
