I am thinking of getting a toon or float tube to fish Puddingstone, does anyone have any input on the pros and cons of getting a pontoon over a tube, and visa versa. Which one should i get, a toon or a tube, my price range is $250 or less

thanks PF

I highly recommend any of these two, depending on your weight plus gear.

Hybrid float tubes, V-shaped.

Fish Cat $150.00 Holds up to 250 lbs.

ODC 420 $200.00 Holds up to 300 lbs.

With the budget you put down it has to be a Tube unless you get luck on a second hand toon. I think I can get into places in my tube that a toon could not get into. This has been good for me at Isebella when the water level is high and the pressure is on.
