Newport Harbor 4-12-08

Have not posted for a long time, but its almost that time of the season again.

Anywho, had a special visitor out of state and decided to take them in newport spottie fishing. Fished mostly a slow outgoing tide. Fishing was slower than usual. I was using 6 to 10 pound test throwing mostly double AA plastic grubs, and a crank bait. Ended the day with about 16 spotties, 4 croakers, 1 mack, 4 sandies, and 1 batray. nothing to big but never the less what a beautiful day it was on the water. Good friends and good times.......

oh yeah, i spotted many many schools of two legged tuna.......WIDE OPEN. didnt care for anything i had to say at them, but hey i tried.

also, i post alot of pictures so hope you boys dont mind.

Fishing mainly 6 and 8lb test, 10lb for the crank, and one iron...."just in case" hahaah.

This is true and our motto!!!!!! Getting out with my boy, future son-in-law and other friends to be their MENTOR as I continue to figure it all out is the pleasure I get on the Water.
