Fished the Harbor yesterday afternoon and had a blast! As you all know, the weather was beautiful and by the water was the place to be. Got too hot at home so I went to the Harbor. Tried the ally for some 'butts but... no 'butts. Decided to go back to the ships to see if any bass wanted to play.
There was a lot of bait in the water so I used some more of the 3" jerk shad Gulps in sardine, greenish with shiny flecks, the water a little dark green and murky maybe because of the boat traffic, and ended up with 4 spotties like the one in the pic and 2 sandys. Whenever bait came thru, bam, they slammed that sardine pattern! The fishing has really picked up this past month in the harbor.
It was such a beautiful weekend and I'm sure you all had a great time also.
