Nice Day @ Dana Point W/ lots of pics

Ladystar and myself headed out to Dana Point to do a little tubin. As soon as i took off, i hooked three fish in a matter of 5 minutes. One Spottie, Sandie and a short Halibut. We tooled around for a bit and went all over the harbor. i kept hooking fish. i told what ladystar should have on her line but she wants to have pretty jigs, such as Purple. ( "It looks pretty if i were a fish i would bite it"). She tried other other jigs as well. Until she finally broke down to the clear red flake. In total we caught 2 sculpin, 4 halibut, numerous sand and spotted bass, 1 white sea bass and 1 smelt. It was a perfect day on the water i almost felt like i was back at SARL. LOL. Note to rest of the board watch out for the beginner Sail Boats we almost died they turned into us I ducked the boom and ladystars rod almost snapped in half along side of the boat.

That's a nice sized sculpin she brought up, glad she didn't get tagged by it. Great report and pics. I hope to make it down there soon. Try out some top water lures for the cudas next time.
