first cast, first legal of the year....pics

decided to go halibut fishing today for the first time dis year...got up at 530 am..made bait and went to the spot around 7...first cast wit my live bait...i was reeling it up to cast again...boom...3 feet out my bait get nail by a halibut...i was sooo excited..free spool my reel...let it eat for 30 sec...yank it and came out to 24 inchs halibut..nice halibut for the first time dis year...caught more around 15 to 20 inches..call it a day around 9 am...
