I'm looking for a mid-priced to cheap float tube that gets the job done. Are there any particular brands that stick out as cheap but reliable?

You may want to check out some of the Caddis lineup.
I think I bought my Caddis Nevada for like $60 on sale. It gets the job done..

BPS has a sale running on two (Creek Company if I am not mistaken) of their tubes now. I have a Caddis Nevada that I like, it is not an ODC or Fishcat but it gets the job done.

kennbec trout unlimited is a great tube, i got mine for $150.00 it has lots of storage, easy to move around but you have to pump 3 different tubes (kinda of a pain) im thinking of getting a fish cat

05 The fact that you have 3 tubes is a good thing in a safety aspect. If you have a single tube and it leaks out on you then you are no longer a tuber but instead you are a swimmer.

I have a lightly used Caddis Navigator II I would be willing to sell for $75.00. This tube originally retailed for $189.00 but now sells for around $125.00. It has four bladders for added protection in case on starts to leak the others will still keep you afloat. Also comes with two rod holders. I have used this 1/2 a dozen times and have always rinsed and stored indoors. Photos available if interested. Enter ingoogle to get all the info on this tube.

I will even throw in a guided night tubing trip in the Salt if you are up for it. Let me know.
