Launch ramp in Redondo

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know when Redondo Launch ramp will be open again? They took it out this year and it was replaced with a sign saying renovations will be completed end of march. I was able to hand launch at the Marina for free, (I just had to sign a waiver) , even got validated parking worth $2 all day. BTW>Thanks to all there at the boat launch. Don't know if I got a special deal they have with the city or not but much appreciated. They normally charge $8 to hand launch.

The city hand launch ramp is seaward of the sea side lagoon. Its on the north end of the parking lot from where the boat hoist is. Back in the day the bonito fishing in the harbor was all time. Still alot of fish in the harbor.

It's behind Panchos and Wongs, Chillers, Atitudes, or WTF it's called today!
To the right of the small pier.
I may have to bring my yak down their, if I can dig it out!

Got a 5hp 8ft inflatable that never gets used.
May be worth taking out into the kelp off PV.
Leaving from MDR would have been a long wet ride.
Now dealing with the 405fwy down to Redondo. That's another issue
