That motor is pretty neat. At 25lbs, it might even be feasible to use on a float tube. Although, at $1600... Ouch!

1600 that's a lot of dough for a trolling motor for your tube I've bought used boats with trolling motors for less than that

That thing is sweeeeeeeet!!!!!! I like how the battery sits on top. Frees up space for other things.

yeah i saw one at west marine for $2300!Damn an extra battery pack costs like $700!
I'd rather buy a less expensive minn kota with a smaller battery...Optima Marine...

Cabelas has it for 1699.00 or so. Sweet motor but that's more than I have in my whole toon including motor and battery,fishfinder, and all the other stuff. :shock:

Once lithium technology is more common in this market, that stuff will come down in price. Same with the heli market at first. Lithium is getting much more common and less expensive slowly.
Remember when I spoke of using a lithium helicopter battery to lightly power my pontoon with a 30lb motor? That's pretty much the idea..

That can be my next motor system when it gets cheaper, TJ, did you see how much voltage that little battery puts out. And the whole thing weighs like 26.5 pounds motor battery and carrying case.

Remember that battery I showed you that cost $400 but I said It would power your toon the whole day and only weighs 1lb?
I could do it to a 30lb thrust TM motor for less than half the price of that one. :cool:

That would be the shiznit. The weight thing really turns me on. Carrying my battery up to 11 & 12 sucks.
