hey guys, I usually fish the wedge jetty in NPH ( this week ; saturday, sunday, tuesday, and in about 10 mins, haha), but when the wind picks up, theres only so much you can do. I was wondering if there were any other decent public access spots in the harbor? mabey lido or balboa island? I know of that one dock right down the street from the jetty, but its usually pretty full. Thanks, and I look forward to learnin a lot from you guys.

Theres not many public docks other then the public one before balboa jetty and lido and another on the backside near the bridge.you should try renting a skiff out of daveys locker thats a great way to get you alot of fish.;)

Public docks on the Balboa Peninsula are:
"M" St - (the one you already mentioned)
Washington St. - (in the "funzone")
Fernando St.
15th St.
19th St.
On Balboa Island there are:
Park / East Bay Front
Coral / South Bay Front
Opal / South Bay Front
Emerald / North Bay Front
Sapphire / North Bay Front

basicly what fish dog said but you could all ways try the pulblic dock in the fun zone or rent a skiff and fish the WHOLE harbor(i got so good boat spots, pm me:))
