Sorry its a bit late but this report is from sunday night, the 30th. My buddy Ryan and I have been to this spot a few times with not too much luck but we do know the fish are there. This time we show up I put two rods in the water with carolinas with whole anchovies and 1oz weights and another rod with a four hook sabiki set up and two of the four hooks had cut anchovies. Ryan threw out his typical homemade sabiki with circle hooks and anchovies. Since it was night I decided to rig up a glow stick and send it down the sabiki set up. Just as the glow starts to disappear Ryan goes look at your rod. This particular rod has a very light tip so at first i thought it was just the current. Then the tip started shakin and BENDO! I grabbed it set the hook and it was on. Was throwing 15# P-Line and my drag was set pretty tight and this thing was running. Mind you Ryan and I never catch anything good at all! This thing pulls my drag for about 15 secs right off the bat. It surfaces and splashes at the surface for a moment and back down it went. Fought him for about 5 mins of so and this is what it was....My first Shovel....

After we put him back in Ryan and I thought that was too funny that the rod the had the smallest hooks and the least amount of bait actually caught something of decent size. As we were discussing it Ryan said put one of the light sticks on mine. As he was walking to grab the light stick and line and snap swivel I yelled,"Ryan get back here!" He was like shut up, not again. I was like,"Im serious, get over here and help me. Grab the net or something!" He slowly walked back and by this time he looked into the water and saw this shark face lookin right up at him. He was like OH DAMN I better get the net! At first i thought it was a horn shark but Im not quite sure.... Here he is...Oh yeah and it was also caught on the sabiki with chovies....
