The colder the better IMO. If you were there last year you know it was sunny and warm long before opening day and fish were plugged with nymphs / flies and not very hungry thus making the cacthing pretty tough for the most part.

Good point. If the fishing is good I really could care less about the weather.

The high gas prices will keep some folks away. I hope. Creeks should be flowing good with minimal snow on the ground,. DFG will be able to stock the creeks.
Cant wait. I will be at Bishop, then Up to Convict for the evening bite

Gas could cost 100 bucks a gallon and it wouldn't keep me away. I can't wait, less than 3 weeks left!:-o

Hell yeah man! I don't care how it is up there I'm goin' I just went today to pick up some more Thomas Bouyants for the trip.
