I went on a charter Sunday and they filleted the fish on the boat. When I got home I put most of it in the freezer but left some in the fridge intending to eat it shortly thereafter. This morning (Thursday) I put it in the freezer. Is it too late? It's stored in a ziplock bag that I tried to get most of the air out of.

If your refrigerator is under 40 degrees, it might be okay, but I wouldn't take the chance. Seafood food poisoning is the the most dangerous food poisoning and it just isn't worth.

You'd probably be OK....but is it worth it? Pitch it.

Only keep it if you rinsed your fillets well. If not then toss em to the cats.

This new forum is annoying! It only alerts me to the first reply of my thread, and stops after that.

Looks like the consensus is to chuck it... Adios fishies! :(

LOL Thats the way to go!

No kidding!

If you don't have in-laws, leave the fillets out in room temperature for a few days then send it to me UPS ground.
