Horton heard a who in the Dr Suess story, well I found life there in the Marina but it was just a speck of dust as well.
Caught Junior here stitchin an anchovy in about 20' of water while searchin out flatties....slow bite but no skunk for me !
I'll return soon !

Gary, good job on the lil brown one.
One of these days we gotta set up a mud marlin rendezvous.
Maybe those guys that say they are the best batray anglers will come down and show us what they got?
Where are you pier crew guys these days?

Yeaup....let's set up a Bat ray fest sometime soon.
I say we do 2 tiers of this little getogether, a Halibut division and a stinger-fest division..
I say everyone goes in 10.00 bucks and we do a jackpot for each division...
If anyone is interested, let me know and we'll arrange something some saturday..it could be some good clean fun....
There are some other good fish in that area too...at given times
Let's all talk about it !

It's just another fish...never live in fear...in fact, if you want to be absolutely safe, just stand on the tail and use big wire cutters to cut the thorn off and theyre harmless.
I don't cut it off but most people do, just handle with care...
Gotta let 'em feel pain regardless...I guess the trick is not to let 'em make YOU feel the pain...gotta bring it to 'em....
Same goes with the Halibut, you can get seriously jacked by those razor sharp teeth, actually easier than the rays...

No Skunk for you! I haven't tangled with a Ray yet... don't think that I will be any time soon, unless they hit a Lucky Craft. ;) Might snag into one though, they must put up one hell of a fight.
