Dana Point Rockfish Spots?

I've been taking some time off from the water but want to get back into it. Does anyone know of some good rockfish spots off of Dana or South of Dana? Any reference points or depths would be great. I don't want to ask for too much, like GPS numbers. I've never really tried rock fishing.

I tried to finding some spots off of the harbor last weekend with no success. I'm still getting to know my fishfinder.

Its a little far but I have had good luck at the 14 mile bank.It is about 300-360 feet.Good rockfishing.It is about 18 miles out of Dana Point.I will be out there on thursday.If you are out there thursday,we will be in a 20ft trophy call us on 72 name is Reel Medicine.Good luck

Thanks for the info. 14 mile is a little far for my little 13 foot whaler. If the seas are anything like they were Saturday I'd have no problem though.

Didn't know you had a small boat.There is a canyon off of San O that is 200-250ft.Good rockfishing there.Use a white iron with squid.Limited out last time we went there.When are you heading out?Good luck
