Used to live in Ventura and Port Hueneme in the early 90s. Some of the cattleboats that I was familiar with then, are no longer there now. Some are, but most are not. In two weeks, I'll be visiting the inlaws in Ventura and would like to get the father-in-law and the bro-in-law on the water for a 1/2 or 3/4 day. In the past I've gone out of CISCO and had good and bad trips. Anybody have a hands-down good boat that they can recommend? I'd appreciate it and so would my in-laws.

Thanks in advance.

Later,
Scott

There's alot of good boats up there, coroloma, erna b, island tak, aloha spirit. I've only been on the coroloma, but heard nothing but good things about those listed.

I've only been on the Coroloma and that's a pretty good 3/4 day boat. Can't go wrong with the Aloha Spirit. I've never been on that boat but it's run by Captain Shawn Steward who use to run the Excel. Your in good hands with him.

Captain Hooks are the best ... avoid CI Sportfishing like the plague !
