Hey Fearless, how you been? That toon can be used as a kickboat as well as rowed or you can fab up a deck and motor mount and put a small trolling motor on it. Pretty versatile little boat. If you really want to go nuts into the toon thing you might want to consider a bigger one with a higher load capability. Lot more money though. I've got about $1100.00 in mine and still want to do a couple more things. If you really like toons check out the Creek Co. ODC 1018. I love mine

You can't beat this for $200! I have the FC4 and it's a great tube but if I were to choose between the toon and the tube, for the price the toon would be a no brainer. You can kick to maintain position and if your legs are tired you can use the oars. Also you can carry more gear on the toon.

Been cool man, just trying to decide if I want a Toon or a tube so I can roll with you guys. I guess I can try the Fish 4.. what are the basics I will need to start with?????

Hey Fearless, PM SoCal Bassman or Bassguy. They both fish that tube and know whats up. I've never had my fat axx in a tube so I hesitate to give too much advice on those. I do know you need a PFD and a whistle and some fins and waders. Tackle Junkie tubes as well so you can hit him up for the info. I like toons because you can can go a lot faster and cover a lot more area. Tubes have their benefits as well. Good luck with with either way and look forward to fishing with you again.

That IS a pretty good deal. But, the breaker for me would be if it included a transom for a small trolling motor. Doesn't look like it does.

Even so, that's not a bad buy. There are float tubes that cost more than that!
