Haiwee Reservoir

[Fastfish]

Searching for info about this lake Haiwee Reservoir I went float-tubing there a great many years ago and fishing was good trying to gain present day fishy knowledge.

Don't waste your time. Thanks to the DWP that lake is once again off limits to the public. Seem DWP has concerns about terriorist posioning the "drinking" water, thus locking us out. Seem strange to me because anyone can access the many aquaducts around SoCal. DWP never wanted to let us in, it took a lawsuit to get us in the first time. Now they can use 911 as a reason to kick us out again. Oh well maybe someday.

Too bad, lots of large bass and trout in there.

I always goes like that does'nt it so lets move on to trying to find info about another of the greats from years past Cibola was another of the great hidden jewels for Largemouth bass fishing that is hidden away along with several other small lakes along Colorado river area so there is a new thread trying to find info about Cibola now.
