A friend of mine owns "Phobulous" on Ventura Blvd., in Sherman Oaks. I don't have the heart to tell him that his pho isn't that good.

Nothing beats a hot bowl of pho after a cold day out surf fishing.

Larissa,

All this talk of Pho noodle soup is making me hungry. There are many Pho noodle shops where I live. I could eat at a different one every day and in a month still have not been to them all.

Not to self. After finnish cooking corn beef and cabbage today go to Pho noodle shop for dinner.

Unfortunately, I've never had Vietnamese food. However, after 5 pages of agreement about how great pho is, I'm gonna make it a priority to try some. Plus, the original posted recipe sounds really good. Finding pho where I live may be a bit of a problem though. ;) Sounds like the next time I cruise through the LA/OC Metro area.
