Found this interesting. Think this could be a good way to go when fishing c-rigged crack or crabs.

Owner just came out with size 8 and 10 of their light mutu circle hooks. Can't wait to try them out with the crabs as well as the grubs. Also the size 4 and 6 make pretty good bait hooks too as my success in using them with mussel to target spotfin croakers have been consistent lip or jaw hookups.

I've read that you rarely get a gut hook with circle hooks

Also DONT strike ... just give a little line and the fish will hook
itself ..

I miss the blues. Check out the stout blues in the article! The would come in "runs" and chase the bait fish right up on the beach!!!! Chomped in half. On the inlet jetties, you could throw anything and catch massive amounts. Great fighters.

Great article! The fish hooks it's self. You just reel in and the are hooked.

We used circles for flounder w\cut squid strips on the East Coast. Those hooks seemed good for the flatties. Has anyone used similar rigs for Hali's?
