hey what's the word for belmont anyone fishing there still? anyone catching anything? my dad wanted to go there a couple of weeks back but i opted for seal beach. so yeah anyone got any news?

All I caught were Yellowfin Croakers. Fun...not exactly exciting.

I caught sand bass at very end by the shop there on chovies. I also caught sargo casting under the dock with ghost shrimp. In the afternoon, I caught 2 legal halibut using live bait i caught with cheese on a sabiki rig. This was a couple of months ago.:) I like it though just gets a bit crowded at times.

I had my car broken into in the parking lot and my friend had his truck stolen from the parking lot there. Not a good place!

walked around the pier on tuesday around noon3/4, saw 1 guy catching herring but that was it heard it's tough to make live bait also... I'm gonna try to get out there with my gear this weekend i hope.

No red tide now even less at high tide, yes there is a new guy running the shop, and he likes his job, R.J. is his name.

oh cool have they done anything to improve the bait shop and the building? it was pretty much falling down when i went there last
