I just thought I would let every one knoe there was an article about the domoic acid levels being at a record high and that 48 sea lions have died so far and 152 birds have died from it meaning that the sea lions are getting enough of it from the fish whish must have alot more than anyone though in the begning . Im not tring to get anyone upset by posting thsi I just want everyone to be informed. none of this sounds good for anything in the big blue :(

KTLA Ch. 5 was talking about this last night

That's the reason for all these dead animals washing up on shore

This isn't good. But is this primarily affecting inshore/coastal areas? So fishing in harbors/jetties/piers/shallower areas? Or would this be inclusive of offshore/longer range boats as well? Also, how far is this reaching? From what I've read, it looks like anywhere between Laguna and Long beach, primarily, but also that OC areas are the worst. What about the South Bay or Dana Pt?
